Questions for April "Fun with Math"

"Fun with Math" puzzles are about house painting

These "Fun with Math" puzzles involve three painters who work at different speeds. You're supposed to figure out how many days it takes this crew to paint different numbers of houses.

"Fun with Math" author George Yu likes to check on your ability to figure how to mix differing abilities together to get a single answer.

You have to figure out how long to schedule the crew to get the painting jobs done.

You won't have to figure if the painters should be paid at varying rates. We'll leave that up to the boss of the painting company.
