BEFORE READING: Have the young reader read the names and words from the list above.  Provided help as needed.  Then suggest the reader read the article aloud to you.  Indicate that you will help with any words where needed.  Also point out that the article ends with a long list of children’s names and their schools.  Indicate that when that list is reached, you will read the names unless the reader really wants to do so.
