January answers

No winners for January Math Mania

There were just a few entries for the January Math Mania contest and none of them had all the right answers.

Maybe with more time in Feburary, we'll get more entries and more winners.

Ms. Math Mania, Ms. Amy Ruzicka, doesn't like it when we don't get to give any Border's 10 gift certificates to winners. Let's do better during February.

January Math Mania SOLUTIONS

The rules of "24" are very simple: Use each of the numbers only once to form an expression that equals 24. You may use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses. Don't forget to follow the order of operations!

If you'd like to see examples, check out Math Mania from April 2008.
