Amazon.comA Big Harry Potter month
Harry Potter books and films will be on St. Louis area kids' minds during July. And Young Saint Louis.com will be on hand to help. First, the fifth movie will open in theaters July 11 and YSL.com's reviewer Eddie Szewczyk will be on the website by the time the movie opens. Later in the month, the seventh-and final-book will be released. YSL.com will have a review as soon as possible.

movie reviewer Eddie Szewczyk found "Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix" was darker and more violent as Harry's challenges get tougher. But, he liked this fillm, just as he did the previous four. Also, remember the 7th and final book in the Harry Potter series will be released on July 21.

St. Margaret of Scotland films are picked

Kids at St. Margaret of Scotland school are making quite a name for themselves at the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase festival. This month, eight of the schools short-film documentaries are scheduled for showing.

Eleven-year-old Monica Smith of Webster Groves said her favorite outdoor activity is swimming and the only weapon she owns is a pocketknife. But, she and 41 other St. Louis area kids last month completed a weeklong Hunter Education Day Camp.
