Lots of winners for final 2006-07 Math Mania

It looks like kids who participated in the final Math Mania contest for the 2006-07 school year got an early vacation present from Ms. Math Mania.

The "Telephone Code" questions must have been pretty easy because there were 15 kids who got all eight puzzles correct.

With so many winners, Young Saint Louis.com decided to award four $10 Borders gift certificates, instead of the usual three.

The certificate winners, who were chosen in a random drawing, were:

Gabe Jacus, Nicole Bondourant, Jordan Quinian and Kristina Vidovic, all of St. Louis.

Like the rest of you, Ms. Math Mania, Amy Ruzicka of St. Gabriel's School, is taking a summer vacation. Therefore, Math Mania won't be a feature of YSL.com during the months of June, July and August.

But, Ms. Ruzicka promises to have new puzzles for you when Math Mania resumes in the September, 2007, issue.

Have a good summer and come back in the fall ready for another good school year.
