Sad news about YSL.com's founder
Ed Heins, the founder and reporter/editor of Youngsaintlouis.com, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Ed was a lifelong journalist and newspaper editor who loved writing stories about and for kids during his "retirement" years. This June issue will repeat some stories Ed wrote for issues in 2009. The sponsor of YSL has asked that we continue publication through the summer. In honor of Ed, those of us left behind will honor that request. Since Ed is no longer able to do what he loved for the website, we will be drawing our copy for the remaining issues from the ten years of archived stories that he did report in those years. We know we cannot begin to match what Ed contributed, but we hope you enjoy the remaining issues based on Ed's past contributions.
