schools have a plan to merge the cities of

in World War II, a skinny kid who can't play
baseball, a slave girl in Georgia at the end
of the Civil War, and an eleven-year-old who

Webster University, in addition to teaching
grade school math. For the May Math
Mania, she asked one of her college
math professors to write a guest feature.

to "invent" some unique World Olympics math-based
events as proposed in the April Math
Mania. But, whether any of them will
be sanctioned as official events anytime soon
is questionable.
