library urges kids to pass along gift book
The
St. Louis Public Library has picked an urban-life
"graphic novel" for its fall 2009 "Read It
Forward" book. The library will give out 250
hard-cover copies and then urge the kids to
pass them along so others can read it.

For 3,000 metro-area youth football players
in the St. Louis Junior Football League (JFL),
their "Super Bowl" weekend will be this month.
And there will be more than a dozen championships
decided on Nov. 20-22.

in a log cabin.
