If he or she has trouble only with one or two, suggest he or she read the article silently and be prepared to discuss it. If three or four words are missed, suggest he or she read the article aloud to you. If as many as five words are missed, you read the article to the reader. DURING READING: If the reader is reading the article silently, help with any words if asked for help. If the reader is reading aloud, help immediately with any words that impair fluency. If you read the article aloud, model fluent and expressive reading. AFTER READING: Use questions such
