September puzzle answers
8 kids answered all Math Mania puzzles
The 2007-08 Math Mania got off to a good
start in September as eight kids answered all the six puzzles
correctly.
All of the kids who got all the answers correct were from
St. Louis.
They are (in alphabetical order):
Jenny Berghoff, Kate Evold, Paul Denham Kieffer, Joshua
Lee, Addison Leong, Shun Tomatsu, Veit Ulrich and Marie Warchol.
Congratulations to all those who got all answers correct.
The kids who did best with these unusual puzzles probably
made use of a calendar, more than a calculator to figure out
the answers.
With so many winners, Young Saint Louis.com upped
the number of $10 Border gift certificates from three to four.
Then, YSL.com put the winning names in a hat and selected
the four at random.
